What is the Difference Between 3 Axis Waterjet Cutting Machine and 5 Axis Waterjet Machine?
3 Axis waterjet moves its bridge on the machine body in X and Y coordinates in the defined cutting area and brings the cutting head on the bridge to the point desired by the operator. Whatever technical drawing is loaded on the machine control panel, it cuts the cutting process to its narrowest radius by following those cutting lines. The cutting edges are 90° to the cut object, that is, it cuts at a right angle. Because the cutting head group is mounted on the movable bridge at a right angle of 90°, the software has been loaded accordingly.
